The parliament of Estonia on Thursday, on December, 20th, has approved of the amendment to the Law on medical insurance according to which a payment for visit of the doctor on the house and for outpatient reception hours at the expert, and also a payment for kojko-day in hospital will raise more than half.
The top limit of a payment for visit to the doctor is raised about 3,20 euros to 5 euros, for a kojko-day - with 1,60 to 2,50 euros. Present quotations operate since January, 1st, 2002.
Still medical institutions within the limits of rendering of the general medical aid will have the right to enter a payment only for visit of physicians home. The out-patient help of family doctors remains for all insured patients free.
