French are against the legalization of same-sex marriage

French legalization

Sunday in Paris was held to protest against allowing same-sex marriages. It was attended by about 1 million people. This is reported by the organizers.

Demonstrators columns through the streets of Paris. Near the Eiffel Tower, the protesters chanted:
"Mom and Dad, go out and defend marriage," "All men and women are born," and others.
They demanded a meeting with French President Francois Hollande to persuade him to abandon the plan to enter into same-sex marriage resolution. In addition, the president proposes to allow same-sex families to adopt children.
The reaction to the protest was immediate. In the presidential administration, it was called "sound", but stressed that it "will not prevent the discussion (the bill to permit same-sex marriage and adoption) in parliament."
