Pentagon allow women to fight on the front lines

U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has decided to lift the ban on women in combat, U.S. media reported, citing an unnamed senior officials at the Pentagon.



Decision, which is expected to be formally announced on Thursday, would allow American female soldiers to claim hundreds of thousands of items at the front and open the way for them to higher positions in the U.S. Army.

With this guide U.S. forces to January 2016 can create a list of positions to which women, for various reasons, can not claim.

In accordance with the rule vveddenym in 1994, women can not be members of the U.S. armed forces units engaged in ground combat.
